Roadmap

Built in stages. No dates promised until they are real.

The workspace's own roadmap separates what exists from what is planned and from what is possible. This page keeps that separation and adds the two future capabilities the product is being shaped around.

Now

In beta

Implemented and in private beta. The only list on this page that is a claim about the software.

  • Project-centred workspace: one project carries universe, benchmark, date window, lineage, features, runs, strategies, reports and audit trail
  • Market Explorer with bundled index constituents, a universe builder, watchlists and screens; data from synthetic reference series, CSV, Yahoo Finance or a connected provider
  • Data Preparation with a fixed, audited order and lineage records
  • Risk & Return, Statistics & EDA, Scenario & Stress and Portfolio Optimisation
  • Feature Engineering with a versioned registry and point-in-time construction
  • ML Models: 30 supervised estimators on one chronological pipeline, 13 unsupervised methods, forecasting against a naive baseline, walk-forward validation, hyperparameter search, explainability
  • Strategy Builder, backtesting with explicit costs, VaR and drawdown; Strategy Monitor as a record over saved strategies and their backtests
  • The research layer: 119 catalogued methods, composable validated workflows, a run ledger, deflated and probabilistic Sharpe, PBO, bootstrap intervals, multiple-testing haircuts, purged and combinatorial cross-validation, GARCH, ARIMA, Kalman, factor models, cointegration, option pricing, event-driven backtesting, a validation registry
  • Report Workbench with an evidence registry, staleness detection and HTML, DOCX and JSON export; a fixed PDF evidence pack
  • Saved Results, project notepad, workspace search, layout customiser, light and dark themes with a configurable accent
  • Account surface: profile, two-factor authentication, integrations with a server-side credential store, API keys, workspace members, export and audit

Next

Planned

Planned. Direction, not a promise about dates.

  • A structured feedback loop with private beta researchers, cohort by cohort
  • Durable storage for hosted deployments behind the same API contracts
  • A job queue for long-running validation and training
  • Paid market-data adapters that respect each provider's licensing; the provider registry, credential store and network policy are already in place
  • Independent third-party cross-checks for the 47 methods still reported as unverified

Exploring

Planned

Possible directions being shaped by what beta researchers actually need.

  • Cohort and department access for universities: teaching use, reproducible coursework, workspace standardisation
  • Supported on-premise or VPC deployment for institutions; SSO and SCIM provisioning
  • Drift monitoring and SHAP-style attribution
  • Broker sandbox and paper integrations, governed separately from any live execution
  • Usage metering and enterprise controls around billing

Future

Future

Two capabilities that shape what is being built now. Neither ships today.

  • AgentQ: a research agent addressed in plain language that composes, runs and writes up under the same validation rules, with every number checked against the evidence
  • Quant Code: a space for custom scripts inside the workspace, with the same typed parameters, provenance and reporting as a catalogued method

How to read this page

Every item in the first column traces to a module, endpoint or document in the workspace source and appears elsewhere on this site with a screenshot. Items in the other three columns appear on the site only with a badge. Where a page describes cohort access, on-premise deployment or team standardisation, it says once that it is design intent.

Nothing here is a commitment to a date, and nothing here changes what the workspace is today: a research and analytics workspace that does not place trades, route orders or give investment advice.
